RECOMMENDATION
1.1 To raise an objection to the proposal. It is contrary to Policies R44, E34, E36, E37 and E38 due to its significant negative effect on the landscape character and visual amenity of the area and, in particular the landscape effects on the setting of the Lake District National Park, its lack of information on the ability of the local highway network to accommodate the proposal, and the lack of work to record, protect and conserve archaeological remains associated with the site.
